Horsemanship Classes & Beginner Lessons

A Modern Approach to Traditional Horsemanship

Our lesson program meets you where you are in your horsemanship journey and walks with you on the path toward your goals. Leveraging
traditional horsemanship goals with techniques based on current knowledge of how horses see, think, and interact, we will teach you how to make progress toward your goals with equines.

    Our Programs

Adult horsemanship classes (~13 years old +) are $90 per session using our teacher-horses and last appx 1.5 hours end-to-end.

Classes are $75 if you haul in your own horse; duration will vary with the strength and stamina of horse and rider but will be at least one hour. We will want to evaluate you and your horse on your first visit to decide on a program that will fit your goals.

Learn to Ride program: Looking for the perfect extra-curricular activity for your kids? Our Learn to Ride classes (beginner riding and horse care) start at just $45 for approximately an hour. This is intended for kids under 13 but we can be flexible with tweens who want to learn and don’t have any background. Call to discuss options.

NEW! Remote lessons via Zoom: Designed to bring excellent riding fundamentals to people who don’t have a way to bring their horse to us or live outside of a reasonable distance. Launched Fall of 2025, we are in a ‘beta’ phase while we test out the scheduling and optimize the technology; contact us for your free initial remote lesson before the end of 2025!

Fees are payable at the end of each lesson, cash, check, or Venmo.

Helmets are not required but are suggested for all, especially kids age 16 and under.

Liability release form must be signed at first lesson and is good for the calendar year. Parent or Guardian must sign for students under 18.
